The advertisement is very misleading.
I saw the five stars review of the first three guys so I bought it. After few minutes of watching explanation,
I said WTF to myself. Is this what I am paying for?
Maybe the first three guys is the creator's friend.
Otherwise I can't imagine myself performing this without getting questioning from audience, why use card?
I don't think it will fly by any astute audience, the solution to the trick is too simple.
The most disappointed buy recently.

Dear Derren: Sorry for the misunderstandings. Actually, the cards you mention are shown in some scenes of the trailer. And I agree with you: It could be made more obvious. From the participant's perspective the cards are used to focus their minds on the images of the numbers, so that you can read the numbers from their eyes thereafter. That's why numbers are printed in large on one side of the cards while the backs are grey, so no-one can see through when they are face-down on the table. The shown reactions in the trailer are from real, random people. Likewise, performances on stage using the included stage gimmicks were also successful. If the main effect is not for you, hopefully some of the bonuses are.

Hi,Andreas, nothing personal, just the advertise may need clarify.
I originally expected some special clever gimmick to do so.
Thanks for your explanation for the justification use of cards.
That is very kind of you to respond.
From the video I can see you are a great guy with caring character.

Thanks for your kind words, Sychou.

To be fair to everyone: The review above writes: "I don't think it will fly by any astute audience, the solution to the trick is too simple."
This sentence proves that the reviewer did not watch both parts of the explanation video before writing the review. Otherwise he would have witnessed that Codino plays strongly in front of intelligent people, despite the simplicity for the performer. And there is more than sufficient proof for this claim:

The six full length performances included in the explanation video show you participants who are students at elite universities in Europe. They didn't know the magician, had no instructions given what so ever and had no idea what will happen, yet they reacted as strongly as you can see summarized in the trailer.

In addition, this effect was successfully performed on stage in front of hundreds of people, more than just a few times. One such performance was in front of the senior management of a German luxury car maker. And the effect was the reason to be booked again and again.
Please judge for yourself: Are those astute audiences?

We all don't like to buy effects and then find out that they don't work in real life. That's why we excessively tested Codino in real life before releasing it. And the results of the tests are summarized in the trailer. We hoped that you appreciate this approach.

Everyone who has performed the effect a few times is very welcome to write a review. Please try Codino before you write things that you have not experienced yourself. And you will see that the proper usage of the Codino routine will fly by very astute audiences like the ones mentioned above.
