video instruction is also very helpful and detailed. The only reason I kind of took away half a star
is because I am afraid that it may not last very long after the gimmick wears out. I hope penguin
sells refill decks for this. I will definitely get them.
This review is dead wrong. There is no, one, singular "gimmick". I bought the original deck when Rick first released it many years ago and have performed this, literally, over 500 times. The gimmick of which you speak is a special something which needs to be replenished every now and then. If you take care of the cards, they should last a lifetime.
Must disagree with kuglio that original review is dead wrong. Think OP was keeping things vague but thanks to kuglio I now know this is most likely R&S. Love this routine but not a fan of the gimmick as I have issues with it in the past so good to know.
If you'll ever see this comment, just buy the Grip Stick from this website. It will solve the problem when it comes to the gimmick wearing out.
