I've owned several ACAANs. Position impossible is probably the best out there. Let's look at what this effect claims:
No memorization...TRUE
No mathematics.... TRUE
No stacked deck .... TRUE
No sleight of hand.... TRUE
No rough and smooth..TRUE
No sticky stuff.... TRUE
No switch... TRUE

Finally!! A ad copy that isn't deceptive.. Sansminds should take note!

Simply put this is amazing. The teaching is top notch, easy to understand, different routines explained.

Pick this up now!!!!

The ad copy is deceptive at least from looking at the video. It says any thought of card but in the video it does not look like a free choice. Also can spectator turn card over for the reveal?

@Mrbuster as it is said in trailer, spectator picks a card.
Spectator cannot turn the card himself if you perform this with the given deck but there is a variant where spectator can turn the card.

Michael Pilkey is calling this an Acaan and it is not. Thanks Sinek8 for response. Ad written description is lie. It say any thought of card and it is not. I watched you tube video on fool us. It's looks good but still....not holy grail

Look at this from a spectators point of view. They select a card, the deck is shuffled. The deck is spread out before a number is named. You count down in the most fair way to that card. Unless you are repeating the trick for them, this is the holy grail. Yes, in my review, I call this a ACAAN. And I would call it that because the spectator can stop anywhere and like I said unless they see you do it more than once, then this isn't a problem. If they do see you do it more than once.. you're the problem.

Tell me what part of the ad copy was not honest. I've worked this routine daily since before it was released. I got an advance copy from brent. I can tell you this. This is a worker. Everything stated in the ad copy is 100% true.

Now, I'll address my post. Yes, I put acaan. When I put that, I used it as a general term. Not saying this is truly any card.. brent never said in the ad copy this is ANY card. That was me and it wa sonky using it as a general term. And if you let that stop you from buying it then you are over thinking it and you are really missing out on a great trick.

I watch the Penn & Teller Fool Us over and over again, I still don't get it that Brent Braun admitted that Penn & Teller knew how the trick was done. I don't think that neither Penn nor Teller knew how the trick was done. Penn was just bluffing and Brent folded. Too bad. It was a good presentation, but not a hands-off ACAAN.

Penn had it spot on 100 per cent.So much o no he didn't fully appreciate the trick. He did and he said indexes a few times.Exactly how he should have responded without tipping it too much. It's a variation of a known deck that pretty much can do this and in my opinion just as well if not in certain aspects better. So penn was bang on correct when he said the secret is in decks index get it?

A very good effect. I love Brent Brauns stuff. In this case it is also possible to show the trick with a "reversed" deck of the same principal. In my opinion the convincers are as good as with Position impossible.

@Qualitychic....The part of the ad that says "find a thought of card" is a lie. Oh but wait....after you F---e the card then they think of it....yeah...OK. Deceiving ad

What is the difference between this deck and the Mastermind deck?

Mrbuster- My understanding is that when an effect is called an ACAAN you would like it to be exactly that from the performer's point of view and not just the audience, correct?

EZrhythm- That has been an existing argument with this plot for years and I'm fine that it looks that way to the audience. The first thing I read on the ad was ...Find a thought of card at any number... and I was like...oh awesome. Then I watched the trailer and was like....It's not a thought of card, it's a f.... , yeah it's a great effect and Brent is a great creator but the only problems I have are people calling it an ACAAN and ad say's thought of card. Nick and Eric's video is awesome in explaining this. So it's not really a thought of card but it feels like it to spectator. I'm good with that and it is a great effect. But to answer you in short, If someone says ACAAN I expect it to be just that. This is a CAAN and if I'm buying something I want to know what it is. Also we preform to other magicians as well so most know the difference between ACAAN and CAAN
