First, I want to say I am still working with this. I've performed it at the bar I work at only four times. Of the 4 experiences, audience members said they had a good idea of how it was done 3 times. The problem is 2 of the 3 were spot on and the other was close. How do I know this? I either ask them, or I have a plant in the group that listens to what they say when I step away. I try and do this with all new material.

I think too many of us assume we are fooling people without actually investigating things.

I think I have a performance solution that will change their experience. Hopefully!

Love this. No memorization. No anagrams. You can focus entirely on presentation.
The only minor drawback is that you are using their birthday to find their birthday. While this can be handled in the presentation o just thought it should be mentioned.
Again, that being said ..I love this.

What can I say? I am speechless, as how something so simple like this, can create such a moment of ecstasy. Being a mentalist, I have searched and searched for an effect with an astrology theme that is so simple, yet devastating. I've finally found what I was looking for! It delivers both their sign and the very date of their birth, without any awkward fishing or processes. Money well spent.

What I like about this app is that it's well masked as an astrology reading app. It gives a really great reason to bring it out and begin the effect, however, it doesn't look like you're doing anything. You're showing off a really cool astrology app. I was so surprised how easy it is to learn the mechanics of it to 'code' it and was able to do it right away today with my fiancé's co-worker today. She was blown away and did not think this was possible!

I highly recommend this to any mentalist. It will make an excellent tool if you want to do some serious covert stealth pre-show work. NO ONE will suspect a thing! All I ask Penguin to do is to continuously update this app on a regular basis as new O/S updates occur on smartphones, because I intend to use this app for many, many, many years to come!

I get great reactions from Calendar by Rick Lax. Simple and fun, great for walk around and strolling Magic. Ladies/girls are particularity very intrigued. I simply mention to spectators that the Horoscope pamphlet was one of those freebies you see at Pizza shops and Diners near the various business cards. This APP is the Tech version. Excellent for Gen X,Y & Z. This APP will give the Magician the spectators Month, Day and Zodiac in "code". You can either tell them fast-put the phone away or have them read their Horoscope after the swiping. I recommend practicing the "Swipe" as it is possible to hit the wrong spot. This is worth the $20! Get it and Rick's Calendar. I would like to see an update to this APP, where the spectator can do the swiping as they hold your phone = YES - NO - BOTH sections for the swipe : } This would give us a hands off method. Horoscopes can be very impactful for some people, be sure to use good patter/acting/dialog as this is key for this kind of effect.

The how-to documentation within the app just plain sucks - no other way to say it. However once you mess around with the app it all becomes apparent IN SPITE of the how-to.

I can see this being fun under the right circumstances, like a bar setting where cocktails are flowing.

The app is great for acquiring the precise date of birth of an audience member in very natural way.

A nice time delay between running the quiz and revealing the audience members date of birth will make a very clean and convincing effect.

Once you figure out the tutorial...it works very well. Now to start to work up different routines!
