I almost didn't buy this because of other reviews, but I've performed Skycap original for years and loved the effect. The creators are generally very solid with effects they put out so I decided to support them on 2.0... I disagree with other reviewers about the gimmick, it's 100% examinable and not suspect if you go about the effect in the right way. Practice and don't just go out right away to perform the effect unless you have the experience already. The cap is examinable and you would not beable to figure out the secret without really tampering, a casual inspection will definitely pass.

I do also believe that this has some great improvements on the original gimmick/handlings-
1. no writing on the cap,
2. gimmick alterations make for smoother handlings and no "get ready",
3. multiple colors available,
4. still examinable...
The notable downside is that the original gimmick was in my opinion slightly more examinable but had it's own downside of needing a "get ready"

All and all this is a great method to a beautiful penetration effect, would definitely get a 5star if the next version of the gimmick was made to completely resemble the most common caps we see on bottles we know, that way you could essentially have all items borrowed and perform the same penetration (with a simple switch).

The mechanism itself is good! However, when I saw that it was "100% examinable" I got excited and ordered it. Technically it is examinable, but you have to be pretty naive to not know that this is some sort of trick cap...and when the spectator knows something fishy is going on but can't quite pinpoint it, it ruins the whole effect. This just feels like something bought at a magic shop (which it is, but the spectator shouldn't know that!!). You can still have fun with this, and if you're really creative, maybe you can come up with a way to make it look as organic as a normal bottle cap should look.

I read the review here and passed on it because they said it couldn’t be examined. I was on the fence for so long on this. Ever since the first generation cap. I asked Luke directly, ‘Does this look like a real cap? Will it pass scrutiny?’ His response, ‘It can be examined both before and after.’

You have to be the most complete moron to not see this cap is fake from across the table. If you touch the cap, game over. I would NEVER give this out for examination. I very much want to reveal the reasons why, but I am not allowed to or it would be redacted because I’m revealing the method. You will just have to take my word for it. Stay away from this. I’m giving it 2 stars for the effort. Back to Penguin it goes.
