I just performed this on my show today a few hours ago and all i can say is that people always go crazy.....i didn't buy this product from penguin but now that i see its 22 bucks buuffff its nothing compared to the reactions you get...Add to cart before it gets out of stock..

I just bought the DVD and only have good things to say about it. Not only is it visually stunning the explanations are clear and understandable. The effect is getting great reactions and I cant wait to show more people.

Very strong and will shut up any skeptic. Only one problem the geek method is great but they failed to mention if you wear contacts, just keep this in mind.

Effect: As you start swallowing a piece of thread it starts coming out your eye!

Price: $22.50 at Penguin Magic

Teaching: Wayne Houchin is very skilled at teaching fluently. He goes over safety, setting up, just everything you need to know. You could seriously sit down with the things you need and just follow along. If you have seen his other DVDs like Stigmata or Indecent you would know that he is gonna be in the Magic Market for a long time.

Quality: The T11|Ellusionist Quality that we all expect from this man. Dana Hocking I believe does all of Wayne's filming. A very skilled man with the camera and the sound boards.

Difficulty: The difficulty depends on the person. Really. It's much like doing needle thru hand. You need to trust yourself and have the guts to setup and do this. If you put in contacts on a day to day basis you should have no problem. But if touching around your eye is new to you, you might have a problem with hesitation.

Applications: This is great from anywhere to Stage shows to strolling. I've done this once at a restaurant. It is guaranteed reactions from anyone who sees it. I see this effect more to go with twisted arm or Freak. It's a lot to take in and it's sick to watch. The reason I don't perform this too often is because I'm afraid to scare the audience away haha.

9/10. There is a non-geek way to do this effect so everyone has a change to do this effect. So drink up, we have a visual raw practical piece of magic on our hands.

I found this DVD to be INCREDIBLE. I saw it and knew I had to have it. I've never owned anything wrong Wayne before, but I figured I could give it a try. In this DVD, Wayne goes through a "studio" performance, and live performances. The "studio" performance is important though. When he performed this, it was in an empty theater, black and white, very silent. He walks on stage and unravels a length of thread. He rolls it up and places it on his tounge. Then after a little gagging and eerie demeanors, Wayne proceeds to pull it out of his eye! The screen goes dark. Then he pulls the rest of it out and you can see the thread hanging out of his mouth begin to move as it comes out his eye. It was a very dramatic piece, and really sold the effect. Then the live performances come up, which were great, but that's beside the fact. He teaches you how to make this a performance piece so it can work to a grand scale of 10,000 people. Wayne is an incredible teacher. He makes learning fun, and comforting. This is an effect that will probably turn off a lot of people looking, but he makes sure everything is safe and comfortable for the performer. Buy now!

Effect- I piece of thread is placed into your mouth and pulled out from your eye.
This effect is amazing, I'll say that right off the bat. The reactions with this are INSANE. However, this is not a magic effect and you don't want you spectators to think that. This is a geeks stunt that literally freaks people out. I performed this a lot. It was a hit at my school talent show and this effect alone created a reputation for me.
The DVD is very well produced and attractive. There are 2 live performances which i thoroughly enjoyed. The effect is taught very well.There are 2 methods to it; the geek method and the sleight method. The geek method is the method that Wayne prefers using and I prefer as well. When practicing it, it may irritate you eye and get red, but after 2 weeks of practice, you'll be fine. The sleight method is great as well. It uses a gimmick which is easily portable, but has a few problems with it which I cannot say. However, if yoiu aren't set up for the geek method, then you can bust out the 2nd method and still freak people out.
Overall, this was well worth the moeny and I highly recommened this IF IT'S YOUR STYLE. If you're a 10 year old kid pulling things from your eye, then it's going to be weird and people will think you have problems. Just a heads up. :)
