The magician shows two coins, a HALF dollar and a ENGLISH PENNY coin. On my old Johnson brand Kennedy copper/silver, you can barely see where the two coins are joined. On this coin, not only is the join visible, but the copper coin isn't even completely filed down to match the edge of the half dollar side. I'm going to have to find someone to grind this thing down so that it is even performance-ready. A $15 join job being sold for $70. Not recommended.

I am feeling bad, I love Tango products, but this is the second less thank positive review I have given their Walking Liberty Line. While I agree with the previous reviews that the coins could be joined better, I think the one I receive will go unnoticed if you don't dwell on the coin when in use; show it and keep moving. If people have time to study what you are holding, they may get more curious.

The second limitation I encountered, and this is in line with a previous review I wrote on the Walking Liberty shell and coins set, is the shell from the shell and coin set does not fit the copper/silver coin. Being from the same Walking Liberty Line, personally, I would have thought they would ensure all the coins could be interchangeably used, but they did not. These are all very nice coins, just limited in this aspect.

My review is on the physical product. The coin is not terrible but has issues. Mainly the coin dates.

Plenty of my C/S coins use the non date sides of the coin which makes matching coins easier. This coin gaff uses the heads of the silver coin and tails of the copper coin…showing dates on each side. It’s not necessarily bad but certainly limiting the use especially for the price.

The coin thickness is that of an uncirculated walking liberty or slightly thicker, shouldn’t be an issue just something to note.

Another review said their gaffs edges were slightly larger on the copper coin than the silver, which resulted in bit of a ridge. Mine edges are even or only a very minuscule difference. Possibly hit and miss here.

They make quality products and they make gimmicks for coins that other manufacturers often don't. I have always been very happy with their work and if you love to do coin magic you can't go wrong with Tango
