With the Broken Wings device, you can easily:

  • Predict impossible things
  • Make writing appear, disappear or transform
  • Create dual realities
  • Force cards
  • Automatic writing without special pens
  • Peek information
  • Drawing Duplications
  • Switch billets or cards
This device is a gimmicked pad. It's simple in it's workings, but since it's conception 2 years ago, I've used it everywhere, from nightclubs to stages with great success.

There are no complex mechanisms to go wrong, no technology to fail, this is a pure, invisible gimmick which allows you to achieve a multitude of impossible effects with ease.

You could set the pad up to satisfy a full act with a variety of routines. A real mind-reader would appear to require no props to read minds. All a real mind reader would need is a pen and paper.

All you need is a pen and this pad of paper to make that a reality.

8 full routines are taught showing the ins and outs of just what this amazing device is capable of.

Comes complete with gimmicked pad and 12 page instruction booklet.

It's ok. The "move" is a little less subtle than I'd like, but I think if you spend a little time working out your movements and misdirection, that could be resolved. I do NOT think that this is useful as a peek device as the ad claims. It's really a switching device. More specifically, you could write something on the first page, close the pad, and then something different could be written on the first page. For switching cards or billets, I don't think it's any good because it makes no sense to put a card or billet inside a notebook...unless you can think of a good justification for it. I didn't really like any of the bonus routines, but I've come up with my own that I think will make the purchase worthwhile.

I use it as a little hypnosis gag, where they read the text on the first page and after hypnosis they are not able to read. The text they just saw now looks like nonsens to them. I snap my fingers and they are now able to read the text again.

For that purpose it' great. You do need some misdirection but it's easy done by talking at the same time you give them the pad. They don't see the switch and they think that you just closed the pad and gave it to them so you can do the hypnosis. They open it again after holding it, so they don't suspect anything.

I like this concept, it may not be new but the ideas presented on the "mini"book are very good.
