If you're a card worker, I imagine you've already figured the methods of the routines with the 5 cards. I did also, but I considered the props and knowing Astor manufactures attractive ones, I decided to still purchase it. For the price I'm happy. The items are well made and attractive. The sleeve which uses the round prong fastener exceeded my expectations. It has a nice clear plastic window which you can see Houdini trapped inside and the fastener locking him in place. It's another old method of accomplishing this but I don't purchase for new ideas. I purchase for what it is. To lay people all these tricks will amaze fully and the Houdini theme is intriguing and attention getting. And, if you don't know these methods you're in for a treat. The magic with the 5 cards can be adapted to any deck, using the jokers and 3 aces, kings, queens, etc. as the escape artists. 5-stars for the price of the props and effectiveness on lay people.
