the 2 handed ones I use were ok but anyone can figure it out. This has a nice snap change on stage. Add a little flash cotton and it will really pop the audience.

I got this routine to use as an opener to a close-up show. I had never owned the original torch to rose, so i cannot really compare it to that one, however, the additional touch added to this effect is a very smart idea and works well. With a bit of handling practise, this effect is very startling. However, i found that the quality of the torch to rose i got was not the best by any means, so i am having to buy another one :\ The wick came off the end of the stick, as a result of no more than ten times running through the effect, and the spring which is used lost its springyness and made the transformation a bit slower.

Overall, despite the quality, the effect is well thought out and is effective.

A great version in that it extinguishes the flame every time and the automatic appearance of the rose gets rid of any "funny" moves. It needs to be rehearsed if you are using it in the middle of a routine.

I wa really excited wen I got this and it was a really cool trick, until it broke after a week since the purchase....
