While I was waiting for this wand to ship to my house, I found a wand my 4 year old daughter had. It's clear with liquid, glitter and stars and moons that slosh around inside. I used this for a week before my wand was delivered and the reactions I got with it added a level of silliness that everyone enjoys, so I have kept using it. Anyway, the wand is great, stained wood and shiny brass, very elegant. Well worth it if you have the need for a wand.

The stain on the wood is not even, just a light cheap wood with brass tips. You can make this wand for less than 5 bucks very disapointed
