The wallet is cheaply made and will not last long because of quality. Depending on the lighting you
can see a big circle at the window. A very poor design for the gimmick in general. Not worth the
money. The original Thought Transmitter was so much better in my option.

I can not believe how low rated this utility device is here on penguin. It’s mind blowing. The only
solace I can find is that there’s so few reviews for V3.
I’ve owned every version of this
effect and over the years there’s only ever been a couple slight modifications. The best thing about
v3 is that you can use business cards and replace the battery.
The method is unlike any
other method for similar effects.
It also bugs me reading reviews where people
indicate this effect is not for working professionals. I’ve heard that so many times and in this
case, it’s incredibly unjustified. I’m a working pro and I’ve performed This effect well over 100
times in paid gigs and never had any issues whatsoever. True, you do have to watch lighting and you
need some level of audience management, but those tags come with 80% of the magic on the market.
Listen, it’s not the best wallet out there, in my opinion, quality wise, but the reactions
I’ve been able to muster with this device has solidified it in my close up/mentalism repertoire and
given me absolutely no reason to replace it with anything else.
I don’t care why anyone
out there tells you...there’s nothing more important in magic than audience reaction to an effect,
and I promise you this wallet can deliver at the highest level.

I agree with the other reviewer. I was a big fan of v1 until the battery went flat and I couldn't
change it. This version is a step back. Poor quality plastic build. With all the feedback from
version 1 I am amazed that the Pro version is as poor quality as it is and more complicated to use.
There is also a big risk of a flash in the wrong environment.

I ordered this before reading any reviews, and immediately wished I had not done, realizing I would
have to return it after all negative reviews.
However, having received the item and watching
the download, I must admit I am very pleased with it.
It does what it says..it is a peek device,
and does exactly that.
I had no big problems with lighting, maybe just lucky so far, but I would
put nobody off buying this item.

First of all I want to say that you get what you pay for. The TTPV3 is a peek wallet plain and
simple. I purchased this knowing full well, (read and watched a lot of reviews) what I was getting
so let me carry on.
I purchased this wallet over all others because I wanted to GET INTO
peek wallets and also wanted something that could carry playing cards comfortably. Also didn't want
to "break the bank"! It is absolutely great for people who are considering using this type of wallet
and therefore it is a PERFECT beginner \ intro (Yes you can use it as a pro) peek wallet.
Bang for the buck? Oh YES! At this price point you can't go wrong.
Included effects?
MEH!?!?!? I actually use mine for my fav EDC mentalism effects of which there are about 4. You
should be able to carry a couple of packet type mentalism effects in the slots as well as a single
card effect. That and some prediction cards. You could also carry 1 extra in the wallet but only in
the fold. That being said, you may only want to carry your 3 best!
Space? I have to admit
that it's tight. And I mean tight. This may be because of what I carry bit it is what it is. ?As
suck the plastic can also get a bit sticky and make it difficult to get your cards out. But once you
break it in a little it's not to bad.
Did I change it up? You betcha! I wanted to give it a
more real every day look so I changed things up a bit. I use a playing card to replace what was in
the window, and added a Starbucks gift card on the carry side.
On the "outside" I carry
several prediction cards of my own design.
Downside? It's plastic and it's only a peek
wallet. "Peek device" needs to be hit spot on. Also you cannot use it as an EDC so you will be
carrying 2 wallets. :-(
So how does it do? If you take your time to get your handling and
timing down there should be no issue with any angles or lighting. Price point is nice. I would say
that this is the best bang for the buck hands down.
Learning? 1 video and the download is
still there. You may need to go to Murphy's Magic website first and then add the URL extension to
get to it but yeah, it's still there and downloadable. It covers what you need to know. That and 3
routines.
Am I sorry I purchased this. Nope! I love it and as with anything magic, it's the
same advice for people who need directions to Carnage Hall. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. Once you
get this wallet down THEN it may be time for you to put out the $$$'s for a real EDC!
And
most of all \ finally, I would suggest you do your homework. Get out there and watch LOTS of reviews
of many different peek wallets before you settle on a wallet of this type. There is a lot to
consider. Things you may not have even thought of.
Hope this helps.
Carried one in my pocket all the time for years. Wore it out. Bought another. Used it all the time.
Wore it out. Shopping for number 3.
Great device, different from any peek wallet on the market! The only reservation I would make of
this great device is the size of the peek area, which could have been gigger - But that's fine with
me anyway!
Technology is good. Wallet quality is not good as compared to others. You can't perform it at very
low light or very bright light condition. Hence not good for professional working. If you just want
to do a peek this is for you. But remember that the method is light sensitive. Accessories are just
useless. You can't perform it when spectators are looking from behind or from side.
