Effect

The magician borrows a bill from the spectator. The bill is folded in half, and a pen or pencil is placed in the fold. Instantly and visually, the pencil penetrates through the bill, but this time the pencil melts through in slow motion! This is so visual, it's like watching a special effect in a movie! Of course, both bill and pencil remain unharmed.

Artificial Experience 2.0 is THE one effect you'll perform anytime, anywhere. It's easy to do and it uses a diabolical, clever method that even fools magicians!

Key Points:

  • Can be done with a borrowed pen or pencil
  • Perfect for table-hopping and walk-around performances!
  • Perform it surrounded!
  • Extremely visual!
  • Easy to do.

I give this a 2 because it does look like magic. However, this doesn't make up for the problems with the routine. You can borrow the pen, but not the bill. I would rather borrow the bill. It is also very angle sensitive. I would suggest Misleading Misled also available from Penguin.

I got AE 1 and I got this hoping for a vast improvement, unfortunately I was disappointed. I would suggest you go for other versions available on the market.

This requires a gimmick bill that you need to DIY. Misled is better because you can borrow the bill and everything is examinable. This trick does not allow the bill to be inspected. Misled is way better.

I don't get it...What terrible reviews for such a great effect.I have a funny feeling that the other reviewers may not have really tried this effect with real subjects ,which I have and have always recieved complete total amazement.I have even,on occasion, given the gimmicked bill out for brief inspection.Buy it,learn it,use it!!
