I would have to suggest "El Hilo" is a pretty good variation, too. Although, AVOID purchasing it through Elusionist. You are far better buying it directly from Javi Benitez, through his website. And, another good one to look into is "Tran Gypsy Thread 2.0" by Quoc Tien Tran. The reasons I recommend these two, I can't say here. But, they both have "interesting" twists to how this is performed, that you won't find in the vast majority of other performances of the Gypsy Thread. My advice is if you really want to do the Gypsy Thread, search out and learn as many different variations of the trick that you can. Then mix & match the techniques, and add in your own touches. The end goal should be to create a routine that is unique to you alone. Don't just copy verbatim what others have already done.
