Not split. You just set up several pairs of mates on top. Takes about 60 seconds from a new deck or about 80 seconds from a shuffled deck. You can do it a little faster if you don't look for the exact same cards, but equivalent ones that would do the job.

There's a quick setup but you can do it in about 10 seconds. I'm not sure what you mean by split the deck though?
