This is a beautifully made chop cup, no question and the price is reeasonable for what you get.
However, I rate it down for several reasons. Mainly, the trailer is rather misleading. The set does
not come with any instructions at all, particularly for the novel moves shown in the elegant routine
performed in the trailer. In addition, the cup is too small to produce the loads seen in the
trailer. Any normal sized apple will not fit in the cup and even a lemaon would have to be pretty
small to fit. If you want a nicely made chop cup, this is one to consider but don't get it if you
expect to be able to perform the routine that is shown.
I just wanted to add that I chatted with Chris at Penguin for help finding an instructional online video for this product and he was extremely helpful! I would increase my rating of this product by at least one star because of that and 5 stars for Penguin for being so helpful! Thank you Chris!
You can find smaller apples to use in the cup (he obviously found one for the video). You can definitely find smaller lemons and regular sized limes to fit (red and yellow potatoes also). (If you look closely, the last piece of fruit wasn't from inside the cup anyway.) The baseball also wasn't from inside the cup. However, you can also find plenty of final load balls that will fit. Not sure why you would give a lower rating just because of that!
If you think about it, it's an advantage to have a smaller cup for strolling magic (less of a bulge in the jacket pocket). If you want a chop cup that can handle a large load then get the Ickle Pickle chop cup, found here:

Did Chris find you the instructional video to the trailer or the limited one you receive for the trick?
I don’t feel your drop in stars is fair. There are dozens of great routines out there, and you can work out most moves on their video. They are also clear that particular routine was a perk for their Kickstarter fund raiser. The cup is not large, but you can also find the measurements.
I hope you enjoy the elegance of the set and raise your rating.
I agree that the routine in the trailer is amazing, I think the ad is pretty clear that you are purchasing a chop cup and balls and not a routine.
