‘Up the Ladder’ is an excellent tabled false cut, and the main difficulty is understanding the full
process. A video really helps with the placement and speed etc. I found this video interesting and
it will help many. But I thought the presentation was slightly confused. It seemed to skip about a
bit, rather than travel from A-Z. That aside, I’m sure many will find this a useful aid to learning
the false cut. Beginners will certainly benefit, and should be able to learn it from this, as it
cover the basics and explains what it happening. However, they should then spend some time working
on the speed and smoothness, which is really the hardest bit. Thanks go to the author and Penguin
for providing it.
