I like Gaetan Bloom. He's very clever, and he fools Magician's and laypeople alike. The three stars is not for the effect. The effect is five stars, but the explanation is sorely lacking. The issue I have is the language barrier. It's has French dialogue with English overlapping it. This makes the explanation very difficult to understand. The DVD gives the option of either English or French, but that is not entirely accurate. As mentioned earlier in the review, the English overlaps the French dialogue.
The camera angles are poor, and I found myself at times yelling at the DVD to have the demonstrations clearer. I want what is necessary to perform the effect. I need nothing else. The History of the effect along with interviews could have been eliminated in its entirety and I would not have noticed.
It's an effect worth doing, but I think the practice time could have easily been accelerated if there was clarity in the instruction.
