This is a great dvd!!! It"s the first one I have bought from the set and i'm buying antoher volume
soon. Let me breifly give you my thoughts on the effects inculded.
preticularly enjoyed this one yet it will be a while before i can preform it. All i Can curently do
is the first phase and i cant wait till im able to do the secound. ( not even going to bother with
the third phase till i lean the carzy move required which i will need to get a whole dvd just to
learn but I will) even though it"s hard i"m still willing to put the effort towards making this
effect look great!
I absulotely love this effect!!!!! such a cool
meathod and their is no blowing of the mouth. It looked great when i was practising and i can't wait
to try it out. Definatly easy enough ( and I mean easy!) to give me a lift after the carzy slight of
head in quarters (which again i will try to learn and can't wait till I do)
I really love it!!!! this effect is right up my alley because the only real slight
is my all time favorite move! destroys a gimmick each time but its soooo worth it!!!!
At fist I thought there was no way this could work but it does! The move is nacky but
i'm useing a variation on it utill I learn the real one and once i do i will be able to do this for
more than one or two people.
Nacho mama's Triaumph
This trick is so great after one day of storong practise i fried both a experienced magician and
a layman with this!!!!!!! ( not saying that it's easy) Please take the time to practise this one
because when done right it looks like a camera trick!!!!!! I will do this alot whenever I get the
I really love this dvd and i can't wait to buy another
I love the Daniel Garcia Project DVDs. They are phenomenal. They are well produced, the music is
excellent, they all have extras like bloopers and you get to see Daniel out on the streets or in
bars performing his effects for real people, not some canned studio setup.
DVD 3 is the
strongest DVD out of the 3. Everything on this dvd is usable. Coin guys start performing Quarters.
Card guys, Nacho Mama's Triumph has so much magic packed into 1 trick it is amazing. Everyone will
start using Joe Blow; it's too cool and too easy not to give it a go.
If you only buy 1 of
the set get this one, but you really should get all 3.
I have no idea why I only bought the third DVD of this set lol.
Nacho Momma's Triumph is a
really cool looking triumph routine. There's even a surprise finish in it. Danny says in the DVD
that this is better for your Magician friends than actual spectators. I didn't like that you need to
carry an extra deck or set up though. However, it's routined very well.
Quarters is a
really cool, really visual coin through glass. You need of course a glass to do this. It's really
cool and looks very visual. The first phase you just tap the coin onto the glass and it penetrates.
This looks very nice and it's practical. Then the second phase is you just toss it at the glass and
it penetrates. The spectators can even hold the glass.
Windex was my personal favorite. The
idea is nothing new really. Sankey did this first, but he's credited with it. It's a pretty
practical method but you need to destroy a gimmick every time which I didn't prefer. You might
though. It looks cool.
C.A.A.N. Haven't heard THAT before! But this is. The method is a
little sneaky, but you can get over it. It's fairly difficult at first, and you will need to work,
but you will get it. The secret move goes right by you.
Joe Blow. I do this routine all the
time. It's great for restaurants and bars. You don't need anything and can do it as long as there is
something light on the table. It's an abstract idea but don't worry, it works! You might not think
so at first, but believe me. IT KILLS!
The way this was shot was really cool. Live
performances for everything, introductions, great music, and a lot of humor. I wasn't able to find a
bunch of the special features, but I guess they're there!
Hi! This is your official PenguinMagic reviewer, B_Magic.
These DVD's are Daniel Garcia's
crowned jewel. You gotta get them. They are WELL worth it.
I will warn you, Daniel
Garcia's effects are not for the feint-of-heart. He will make you work, and work hard, to execute
many of the things that are in here. Some of the effects are downright difficult to do, in fact,
some of them I still struggle with after having these DVD's for years. However, there are some less
difficult effects to start out with, and the moves and sleights you learn here are invaluable. The
effects he shows you in these DVDs are miracle-status, and will have your audience dumbstruck!
With practice and patience these DVD's can be a HUGELY beneficial resource for you and will take
your magic to the next level. They are fun to watch as well, as Daniel is a genius and has a very
entertaining demeanor about him. You will enjoy these DVDs, so just buy them already!
Well, let me start of this review saying that don't let 30 bucks for 5 effects deter you; these are
good, powerful effects that you WILL want to know how to do.
I personally use a few of
these in my close-up show and impromptu performances; now, that being said, ALL of these are worthy
Daniel has an interesting way of looking at magic; he doesn't see old
plots and makes tiny variations; he sees old plots and JUMPSTARTS them to modern pieces of
astonishment. Danny doesn't see a pack of cards and assume everything has been done already; he
CREATES something new every time he PICKS up a deck.
This stuff is GOOD material, and that
ACAAN taught is worth the price of the DVD alone.
