How difficult is it to construct the "Whiplash" gimmick?

I had a feeling this was one of the gimmicks that Mark Mason had put out in a few of his marketed card tricks. I love it, very magical. However, it certainly doesn't look very easy to make. Just curious how good the instruction is for making this gimmick for Whiplash...Thanks for any info!

You can make it in 10-15 minutes

The gimmick isn't super easy to make but also isn't terribly difficult. With some patience you shouldn't have any trouble making this gimmick
