What if my spectator removes the spike? (Instinct by Matt Mello)

What if once I turn my back the spectator removes the spike? I understand it should be stuck but I may get hurt if he really could shake the spike out and prank me by sticking it in another cup.

Audience Management is the most crucial part of any "danger" routine. If you're not careful in choosing your spectators you shouldn't be performing these routines. They're only published for entertainment purposes and the performer holds all responsibility when performing them.
