This is very visual card magic! If you are looking for something like that, this is it! It is well
worth the time and effort, and doing the work, and committing the routine to memory is very
rewarding! It is a reputation maker! I only show it to those I trust, and to those who understand
that this is a professional demonstration of magic, and that it is meant to be watched....no
grabbing of the cards...just watch and enjoy. If you can work in that kind of environment, this
trick is great! If you have a grabby, or "curious" audience, watch that they do not grab the cards
from you! You must remember to protect this work of art, and let no one expose or exploit the
secret....it's just not worth performing it for people who don't respect a magical demonstration.
The key is to stress to them, please watch and do not touch, just watch and enjoy. If they break
this condition, Stop! They do not deserve to see it!

I can't understand for the life of me why Penguin doesn't have a demo for this marvelous take on the
classic wild card plot. WOW!!! this thing is BEAUTIFUL. You will fry the laymen brain and resurrect
a magi's belief in the impossible. Not overly difficult, mostly requires a good memory. WOW!!!, just
WOW!!!!!! If you could SEE poetry it would look like this. If you could HEAR poetry it would be the
sound of, or stunned silence, of your spectators after witnessing this artful demonstration of
cardistry. WOW!!! just WOW!!!!!!!

This is one of the strongest card routines that you can do and Jean-Pierre takes this already
incredible trick to another level. I showed this effect to my magician friend and he was completely
blown away.

This is a great handling on the classic, totally covers any weak points of the original effect!
Defintely worth purchasing!!!!

Simply masterful. This is the go to card effect to do once the audience is primed.
Think
of a sample act in a program ending with this effect.
Establish a number of miracles
with the equivalent of borrowed deck, and then after a cold deck switch to a gimmicked deck routine
with an impossible outcome (and another cold deck switch to a normal deck) have an audience member
examine and shuffle the cards and deal nine cards on the table. (This will enforce the psychology
there in no longer any point in examining the cards whatever you did to make the magic has happened
and the cards are normal again) Pick up the nine cards perform a packet switch and move the deck
aside. Go into the Ultimate Wild Card Routine
It will be a reputation maker.
The
effect is so powerful the heat is going to be on the cards. So reducing the level of scrutiny, by
priming the audience first is paramount for success in my opinion.
Perform another packet
switch and end the act clean.
Surgeon General Warning: Learning cold deck and packet
switches will be lethal to your audiences.

This is a mind-blowing effect with clear and precise video instruction on how to perform it. The
moves are relatively simple, but it takes some practice to get the sequence of changes memorized and
mastered. Highly recommended!
If you have any desire to perform a Wild Card routine then I highly recommend J.P. Vallarino's
Ultimate Wild Card. This is one of my best card magic purchases from Penguin ever! Thank you J.P.
Vallarino.
This is an amazing routine, as beautiful as a ballet, and , by far, the best wildcard routine I have
ever seen. Be warned, however, that although the sound dubbing is clear and the camera angles are
good, the pace of the instruction is lighting fast, so you will be doing a LOT, i mean a LOT, or
replaying. Plus, the magician adds several flourishes in his routine that are not covered in the
tutorial. The flourishes are not difficult, but they serve an important function--to confuse the
brain.
This is a trick that demands quite a bit of practice and move memorization. If you
are up for it, enjoy a fantastic routine that others will likely never put effort into.
Great explanation and translation. Great camera angles. I was able to pick it up pretty fast but
what a classic trick brought back to life.
