This is a great trick to preform anywhere, anytime. Wilson goes into great detail on how to preform
this mind boggling illusion and use it in various situations. Definitely reccomend it for and
serious magicians.

I really like this one. The gaff is reasonably easy to make, and it will be very easy to carry
around with you. There are no difficult sleights involved, but you WILL have to spend some time
working on your handling. Like I said, not that it's difficult, but you want to be comfortable with
the gaff so that you don't flash anything you're not supposed to, and so that these changes look as
smooth and stunning as they do in the DVD.
The DVD comes with a surprising number of
variations of effects that you can perform with this. These all tend to be quick, visual changes...
no long, drawn-out plots to any of these; just "bang" and you're done. Not every effect ends
totally clean... a couple of them have handling that some might feel is a little too bold. Not to
worry, since there are some effects that do allow you to ditch the gaff so you end the effect with
empty hands and 5 completely examinable cards. Under those conditions, you will have a completely
baffled spectator!

Recently, I gave a rubble-y review to R. Paul Wilson's effect Gypsy Monte 2003. However, you may
remember that I mentioned that I am a fan of his work, and here you have your proof. His effect
Fan2C is excellent.
The effect is simple: A fan of "indifferent" cards are shown. You pass
your hand over them and they visually change into a royal flush which can instantly be handed out
for examination. If you've seen the movie Shade, you've seen this effect. It's in the credits and
title sequence. It's so visual, you'd swear that he's really rubbing the ink off the cards and
changing them . . . heat sensitive ink or something.
But it's not true. In fact, you could
do this with a borrowed deck. There are not extra cards involved. There is a gimmick, but you can
make it in a few minutes, and it will work with any deck. Just get it. This month is the month of
the gems, and Fan2C is far from being an exception. TOTAL GEM!

So, I didn’t read the ad properly and wasn’t aware that I’d have to make the gimmick myself. No
fault of Penguin or RPW/D&D.
What is their fault though, is this not being a download
instead of a DVD.
Is this the 90’s?
Due to COVID, and living so darn far away, it took
nearly a month to receive this, if this was a download, I could’ve been well on my way to
international superstardom or whatever. Idk, haven’t watched the DVD yet.
I really like fan2c The gimmick is reasonably easy to make, and it will be very easy to carry around
with you in your pocket or wallet There are no difficult sleights involved, but you WILL have to

One word to describe fan2c by Paul Wilson is FAN-OMENAL!..... Get it?!..... FAN- OMENAL! I know,
I'm a dork! Other words to expess how I feel about Fan2c is, WOW! AWESOME! WICKED! AMAZING!
ASTONISHING! BRILLIANT! OUTSTANDING!
The tutorial DVD is in depth, informative, and really
well thought out. The gimmick is unbelievable and very easy to make! In fact, I made six of them!
It does take a little bit of practice to get the handling down, but once you do, you will be amazing
your spectators and yourself with how awesome this effect is. I am performing this at least 30 to
40 times a day. You'll find yourself performing it to yourself when you are alone because it is
that amazing!
The DVD also offers other bonus effects to perform that you will definitely use!
All the effects are awesome and you will absolutely find a way to utilize every single one of them.
It is a shame that I could only give a five star because it is totally worth a 10 star! If you
don't already own this effect, please do yourself a favor and purchase Fan2c by Paul Wilson from
penguinmagic.com right now! Trust me, you owe it to yourself!
