The video is fair at best.The demo is shot in a restaurant setting. Not the best audio or camera angles. The cards received are hard to tell which are the gimmicked cards and at times you think you have regular cards since you flash more then you don't. Alan shows you how to make your own cards which then makes you think why wasn't this a download??? In the forum, there are complaints about the trick not working. I'd have to agree. As I said before you flash more than you don't until I discovered a product that makes the card work like they were meant to work. Mr. Rorrison contact Card Shark to help you release The Monte the way it should have been made.

Alan rorrison came with a different way to perform the monte...good plot ..however his performance at the bar is not clear to the viewer because the camera shots are fare away,and you can not see the cards,you have to follow his voice.in the explanations he gave you a decent amount of information how to make the gimmicks,but again ,during the how is done..the moves,the camera shots are far away,difficult to see the cards,the camera is few meters away,facing him,not close up shots,or over the head shots.good approach to the monte,but weak camera work,making difficult for the viewer to understand what is going on

I just received the gimmicks today and im so disappointed that there are no R’s on the cards. Good thing I have a r___ stick otherwise I would have to return this to penguin magic and i’ll end up paying the shipping. Unfortunately im outside America so that would cost me too much. Also the tutorial problem. Camera is way too far. I cant even understand the positioning of the gimmicks. Im very disappointed.

This is a brilliant use of tried and true principles, in a routine that simply amazes. The ending is totally unexpected and WOW's the spectators.

Used this many, many times in a 6 hour gig for a black tie charity event, and the audiences thought I was a master sleight of hand artist.

His explanation of alternate ways to prepare is worth the price alone. Very happy with this one.

I do like this trick, it's just overpriced. The cards are altered and he shows you how to do that with what probably already have at home. The trick is not foolproof, you will flash more often than I care to risk. Although he does tell you how to deal with that when it happens. I don't believe this will work in warm humid climates. Should have been a five dollar download.

Very easy to do. Looks like real magic. You can even make your own gimmick later with different cards. Presentation is very clear and gimmicks are easy to make if needed.
