1st let me say this is a great product!I am excited to put this in my show in some form. I am thinking during my stand up parlour shows! I might do something with it with David parr's Copycat.
However, I began practicing this effect with my own wedding ring and ran into a problem immediately.
My ring has magnetic properties. I think it has some meteorite or some such thing.
Anyway, this presents a problem but also reminds us magicians to do our homework. Now I think I need a PK ring to be able to check the rings I borrow for this effect, and if they are magnetic, I will say something like, "nice ring, (Hand it back) and look to someone else and say, ,may I look at yours!"
I do not want to give away the secret but this is pretty important info.

This is a strange review, since I actually like the trick.

But it has problems.
#1. Part of the gimmick is very slick and if you're an older magician, such as myself, it's quite hard to hold onto. I'm currently having to use lotion before I rehearse. I am looking for ways to "de-slick" the gimmick.

#2. For parlor and stage, this is NOT that good. The inside of the bell is silver and most rings are silver or gold, so the ring just isn't visible. There are bronze bells that are VERY dark, which is what I'm going to buy, but that jacks up the ACTUAL price of doing this trick.

#3. Setting the gimmick isn't actually super quiet. It's fine I'm sure in a bar setting, but if you're doing parlor/small stage, the audience is very quiet, and the noise might be problematic. I'm working on a joke that will cover the noise.

So all in all, it's a pretty neat trick, but your performing environment will make a difference, as will your hands.

They spent more on the packaging than the bell. Very nice packaging, cheap bell. Won't fall apart, but it just looks cheap. Wish they spent their packaging money on the bell.
This why it is only 3 stars.

Other than that, it is a great prop. Easy to use as any ring flight type trick. Nice change of pace.

Interesting method and looks well made. In all the preview videos they show a bell with a brown "turned wooden handle" that looks pretty close to regular bells and also the gimmicked bells on the market. The Bell arrived today and the handle looks like a wooden dowel rod with a taper in the middle, painted black. For the price I think they could have put some effort into the handle. I will perform it and see how it plays.

First off, yes you'll have to practice to get smooth with this but other than that it's a great and FUN illusion. The Bell looks fine, I see a few reviews where they're smashing the look of the bell...I don't get it....it looks like a bell, a nice bell. I didn't think I was buying a display piece for my cabinet, this is a magic trick you USE! Anyway, it's exactly what you think it is probably to make it work, super easy so you can simply concentrate on your presentation for the most part. Yes, you do need to be able to be decent at your slight of hand and vanish but other than that you're good. Could it be less expensive? Yeah, probably....but what about your show....could it be less expensive? Probably....but why sell yourself short? You wouldn't...so buy the bell, learn the routine and use it to astound your crowd and make money. Boom!

If you use ring flight, you’ll really like this effect. Practice your finger palm, and you’re ready to go. I use the vanishing ring hanky with this. I also establish early in my act that the wand and bell are the same for magic. I think you’ll like this. Good value for price, too.
