Sorry, but this is just terrible. I agree that the principle being used here can be somewhat deceptive, but the application of it is just terrible, and I can't see this fooling anyone but the most naive of spectators.

And really, given the routine, why even use this principle? If you're going to set up the deck in this way, why not just use actual duplicates of the cards in play? That would make a whole lot more sense... the effect still won't be the least bit deceptive in my mind, but at least you won't have observant spectators noticing the incongruities of your displays.

There's really nothing of value here. You probably already do know this principle via a very popular Internet card trick, and this routine is completely transparent.

The overly tattooed gentleman can not be clearly understood.. His words are indistinct and often garbled..

This is one of the best uses for an oil and water trick! It uses a highly underused move and Luke brings it back with a bang! Takes a little bit of skill but well worth it!

I like this trick, and it works great most of the time! However, if your audience is familiar with another well-known trick in kids magic books, they may understand the principle behind this one. Be careful, but it does work most of the time! It's a pretty powerful effect, and I'd strongly recommend it!

Very deceptive...very practical. I have not yet put together an oil and water routine, but when I do, this is certain to be part of it. The only problem with this is that it does require some setup of the deck...a setup that may be problematic to get into. Other than that it's a great concept.

When I first watched this I was beating myself up for not thinking of it first. It is so simple yet so deceptive. It is defiantly worth the money, but on top of that Luke teaches three other oil and water phases to build up to this finale. for 9 bucks you can't go wrong. buy it.

Great buy! The Oil and Water Finale is a great trick in of itself but the bonus material is just as nice. Prior to this Oil&Water was just a trick I used to lead into another tricks set up... this has taken that single trick and turned it into a routine of it's own. I Love it! More imporantly though my crowds love it!

I must say this way of performing Oil & Water is absolutely genius. I would have never thought of this myself.
