Jeff Prace's Keylicious is a brand new, fun, portable, easy to use, and visual gimmick.

Keylicious is a routine with.. You guessed it KEYS. Why keys? Well the obvious answer is that Keys are everywhere. Not only that but keys are not something that spectators think can be manipulated.

Jeff's routine tells the story about theft and growing up in the rough streets of Chicago. Of course Jeff's method of defense is the super sneaky Keylicious gimmick. The routine is funny and entertaining but the versatility of the gimmick allows you to come up with your own routine.

The gimmick is something unlike anything else available in the magic market place and we are sure you will be able to come up with some unique uses of your own with the Keylicious gimmick.

Important Points to Remember:

  • Original Gimmick
  • Easy to perform
  • Visual
  • Routine ends clean and everything is examinable
  • Gimmick is very durable

Mixed feelings about it Report this review

While I love the effect, I can't quite help but to feel this is something more tailored for magicians than laymen.

The moves used aren't too difficult, but at the same time you'll need to practice this a bit in order to be able to perform the whole 'routine' perfectly. The 'gimmick' you get is definitely quite nice. I just don't think laymen will like this effect too much. And this could be because I'm a magician, but it's kind of obvious at times what's going on. Didn't take me very long to figure out the method without getting the DVD, but I bought it anyways to learn the proper handling.

Will I be performing this? Probably not. Why? Because in order to do so You have to have the ONE key and ONE keyring separate to your normal set of keys that are all together in one lump.

Good price, good materials but something seems to be lacking! Report this review

As I say in the title, I like the concept, the gimmick and other materials that come with the DVD. Jeff also teaches an extra trick with cards that is lovely (production of four aces).
However, having performed this effect for a number of friends and family, people are distinctly underwhelmed.
They do not see me doing any 'tricky' moves (so it is unlikely that the problem is about technique so much). Rather, they come to the only logical conclusion about how the trick must work- and are of course right!
Hmmmm...
I will continue to work on this one to see if I can find ways to be more fooling, as I do like the concept and materials.

Yes,simple it is,and a clever gimmick. However it does need a fair amount of slieght of hand and certainly some lengthy practice which is not explained in the advertising of this trick.Perhaps not a trick for beginners at least.

What a fantastic item to carry around. It does take a little practice, but it is something that you could create an endless number of routines, from the simplest with little or no sleight of hand to something more complex. the seemingly VERY young magician Jeff Prace obviously put a lot of thought into this and came up with something very good. Congratulations to you, Jeff! Before it came, I had a thought that I knew what it was going to be and started to have second thoughts about whether I should have ordered it. It is nothing like what I thought, it is so clever, and I love it! Thank you.

Fun Magic Report this review

I read a lot of the previous reviews before making the purchase. A number of them seemed to dislike the fact there was sleight of hand involved. Oh heaven forbid we have to practice an effect before we debut it. If being a magician was supposed to be easy everyone would be one. This a fun effect that would appeal to anyone. Yes there's a little, and I do mean a little sleight of hand, but it's chock full of magic. What matters most is you start clean, and end clean. Would I recommend this to a neophyte? No. But if you are comfortable with rudimentary sleights, and a little pocket/audience management you'll have a great effect that doesn't use a table, and is performed at chest height. Those two features alone make it a worthwhile effect. Well done Jeff.

Fun but... Report this review

I like the idea. (If you've been doing magic for a while you can guess what the gimmick is by the video.) The only real problem for me is there is too much going to your pocket in the routine. It is definitely worth geting it half of from an open box.
