Looch has also released to our community a PDF containing some of his time and audience tested routines, ideas and thinking about visual mentalism.

'Morph' opens the PDF and is a DD and "Prediction" routine that was first published in the now out of print charity project “Secret Impressions” released by Thomas and Rainer in 2010 and is a great routine. I am happy that Loochie decided to include this as I missed that released initially. Very adaptable piece that the audiences I have shown have went crazy for.

The second piece in this nice and easy read is an effect called 'Kronetic'. This is a (non smoking) Visual "PK Watch" Effect where you make the hands on a participants watch visually move, right in front of everyone's face! Oh yeah... There are no gimmicks in play. None.

The last offering is something Looch calls 'Qu35t1on & An5w3r' and is my favorite of the collection. This is great Close Up / Parlour Q&A that can be presented for a small group in a intimate setting. I am very happy to see Looch's thoughts on Questions/Answer (as far as intimate QA go). I am always refining my tool box for QA and I love learning and applying different (read new to me) ideas and thinking. So I am grateful for these notes.

I bought IRIS specifically for the Qu35t1on & An5w3r close-up Question and Answer routine. Boy, was I disappointed. Looch does offer a new way to mark the cards so you know which card belongs to which person, however, this new way is not necessarily an improvement over other ways to mark a card or billet.

The main reason I am so disappointed with Qu35t1on & An5w3r is there is no method taught for secretly getting the question each person asked. Looch says to just look at the card and read their question. What? That's not mind reading. Some say that how you get the information does not matter, what people want is the answer to their question. Sorry, I totally disagree. How the mind reader gets the question in the first place is what makes or breaks a Q&A routine. It's not mysterious or impressive in any way if the mind reader looks at the card and just reads the question.

Oh, and Looch does suggest one way to get the questions secretly: buy another one of his products to learn how.

Huge disappointment.

IRIS was originally a collection of ideas that Looch kindly provided as a bonus when we published to "The Cavalli Files III - Sigma".
Now it is definitively a gift to the community that Looch decided to provide this collection independent from its original context.

In 2013 we met Looch in London. And at some point during our conversation, relaxing at the patio of Hitchin priory Looch approached me an requested me to hand him my wrist watch.
Now obviously I'm long enough in this business and experienced enough to know exactly what would happen in advance. But believe me or not: I was completely blown away and speechless when the fingers of my watch started to move! I had NOOO idea, ... and trust me - this don't happens that often these days.

Anyway, this routine alone is worth the money for IRIS.
It is simple, it is astonishing, it is a typical Looch!

Qu35t1on & An5w3r made this purchase for me. I have used part of it twice now in my own shows during my Q&A segment and the technique added in an element that was not possible for me before when performing the routine. This works for smaller groups of 3 to 4 banquet tables.

We'd usually call out a name or some "impressions" and then get the particular spectator in the audience to acknowledge, before we continue delivering the rest of the info.

Here, with the described ideas, I could point to an area (or even a table in a banquet setting) and start delivering the info, before I called a name. This added something quite convincing, even if used just twice in the whole Q&A sequence.

Hi there, just a quick review for a recent download; Looch's: Iris.

I'm a big fan of Looch's work, and have thoroughly enjoyed A Sad Night in Hamburg, 4.8, Retina, and Impulse, but for me Iris was a little disappointing.

I think this was originally an added bonus for a Paolo Cavelli piece, and is only 20 pages long, but this doesn't take away the fact I think Looch's products, if you're interested in simple and direct mentalism that's extremely well thought out, AND taught really well, I high recommend his work, but thought best to mention that this product, unfortunately for me, wasn't the best.
