If you really wanna make this ring sizzle as a trick, buy Kenton Knepper's "The Ring". With this ring, and Kenton's manuscript, you'll have your spectator in a trance before you can say, ummmm. . . ring.
Kenton's original marketed trick came with two rings, so check on the availability of those first. Personally, I can't find the set from Kenton anywhere, so this is a nice add-on.

This thing's not really magic.. as the title say.. it's just an opticle illusion... and it doesn't look like it shrinks and expands, it looks like it gets fatter and skinier(from the side)...

I am not an illusionist, but I enjoy unusual items and this ring is one of my favorites. The ring appear to change shape right before your eyes and because of the optical illusion, no trick or setup is involved, the ring does the work.

These rings are GREAT I'owned and shown them for years, I just keep buying them because I keep loosing them, get some you'll love'm.

I think people might underestimate this ring. The effect is so strong that even when you know how it works, you still can't escape the illusion.

I keep it conveniently around for the right moment because it makes such a great convincer when doing something in a hypnotic vein.

There is only one way I'd improve this - have a duplicate ring that doesn't have the illusion. Imagine after the spec sees this effect, then you apparently pass it around for inspection. If you do that, you owe me a free sample to try out! You *know* it would kick butt.

The ring works as advertised. It appears to zip apart as you rotate the ring one way and zip together as the ring is rotated the other way.

I have the "gold" ring. When brand new it looks beautiful. It sparkles like an 18 karat gold ring. However, you should know that the gold plating wears off. The ring's appearance is not terribly nice as the plating wears off. But wait! There's good news. When the plating is completely gone, the ring looks as though it is made of silver or white gold. I've had people notice it and find it quite interestng. Mine fits my ring-finger and I wear it as my wedding ring.

This ring is flashy, kinda small but will fit any pinky guaranteed and I use this for misdirection to people mainly or just like to show people. I recommend buying this because it is really neat and crafted great!
