I was hoping to really get some in depth teaching on this version of the Mercury Fold but it was like watching a pantomime - it was demo of the method, no real teaching of the finer points, and no narrative - just a typed blurb across the bottom. Impossible to read the written description and watch the movements in the video at the same time. Disappointing.

I have always dreaded using the mercury card fold but i think this method is worth looking into.

The best way i can describe my feeling for this move is if you're afraid that your classic pass is not "quick enough" and someone teaches you the spread or turnover pass. The result is the same but done differently.

Please note that the video is shot with no explanations but is visually taught. Any card magician won't have any problems learning the move, but get ready to practice the timing and fluidity of the move.

Not really 'mercury fold'. STILL a fine fold with a dollop of 'lightning' folding.

This is (as most downloads are becoming) a VARIATION on a song.

A fine fold to WTF out of...because just a
shuttle pass will not 'work' but once for an audience.

As one old exponent who can actually do the mercury fold = over at least 30 decks folded and destroyed in a lifetime of 'magic' - this method is A FINE method worthy of learning.

I thought that based on the description this would be a "new" or "innovative" way of doing the MF. There really is very little here - and mostly common sense. Definitely not worth $10. It should be a $2.99 download for what you get. Don't bother.
