My reason for purchasing this coin was in the hopes I could combine it with my 'Midas Touch' coins for an expanded routine, but this coin is nothing like those as far as brightness / mirror like plating is concerned. It's rather dull; true you can sense a gold coloring to it but it doesn't stand out and flash with the brilliance I was hoping for. I actually have decided to use it in a spellbound routine in which it portrays a coin 'beginning' to turn gold. Kind of sad but it works.
