I'm glad you can use then gimmick instead of having to do a switch. But in reality the gimmick refills, in terms of regular use(not magic use) only lasted me one night before it started to fail me.(they have 2 more refills included). So I have to bring an extra item with me anyway.

The gimmick unconnected, I guess you could say, mid performance when I was trying to open it, as this does not usually happen, it still created an strange moment, in which I Had to change tricks. This did not expose anything to the spectator, but it did bum me out, I spent over 75 bucks for a product that has a tendency to fail, in which it's first version didn't have a problem in that area.
The DVD includes a few good ideas, but idk, over all I was a little sad over the whole thing. I love performing it and I still think it's a brilliant device, but I still think there are some issues that need to be fixed.

I'm a HUGE fan of the original Smoke. Great effect and great gimmick. Love it. This 2.0 one though is total junk. The connection between the battery and the cartridge is so fickle it renders the gimmick completely unreliable. I went through 3 of these and none of them worked and I went back to Smoke 1.0. If you are interested in this effect get the original version. Smoke 2.0 is hot garbage juice.

So my first gimmick wouldn't charge. I sent it back and received a replacement which also doesn't charge! Have requested another replacement so hopefully this will actually work! For a product at this price one would expect some quality control! Have a look on other site and you can see this a reoccurring problem.

I brought this from my local shop and I love using this. I didn't brought the first version. So I can't compare it with the original, but I don't have any problem with smoke 2.0 sharpie. It work fine, it leave you clean, no one find anything. I don't get why Mitch (Guy who give this review 3.5) have problems with his, but my work really well. I has been using this sharpie for months and I haven't replace the filling yet. Great product. Worth every penny.

easy to use. works well. The charge lasts a while. I used it on stage and everyone was life WTF!!! How did that happen?!

I have other smoke devices and I hate being hooked up to them or forgetting to turn them on...or charging two different things (or rather remembering to charge) lol

You can take this anywhere and with a little misdirection...boom...smoke from your mouth.

I dig it. I just hope I don't lose it!

This is by far one of the best inventions in quite some time. This adds so much to my act it's one gimmick i never leave home without. I have won competitions using this and great reactions. The negative is not having an extra one for the price it should come with a back-up but that's my opinion.

I Purchased the original smoke when it was first produced. Loved it. This version is fantastic. My initial sharpie was dry. The initial cartridge appeared to be old as well. Concept is great. Production could be better.

I used this for a show today and it got shocking reactions. The whole idea behind this gimmick is so smart. I love this thing and plan to use it more often. Very reliable gimmick from my experience as well. Very satisfied.
