Are the mis made bills similar type paper to the real dollar?

The Diamond Jim Tyler versions are printed on a slightly heavier stock than regular copy paper. They aren't going to pass a thorough inspection if you hand them to a spectator, but look very convincing otherwise.

I bought mine years ago at my local brick and mortar and if they are the same as Penguin's, they are cut from a sheet of real dollar bills.
