Die Abolical ,This has gimmick or is a magician forcing?

Seeing the video lookslike you can do it with magician forcing, but on description says gimmicks and download instruction. Do you need a gimmick really?

Yes. It is a gimmick. In general, the product marketing is more accurate than your guess as to how something is done. There is also no reason why it could not be both.
