Not to sure about what you mean by body bands (maybe you mean body hookups) but in Losander's GREAT Dvd named Animate me he doesnt use loops but reagular elastic. And a couple of the effects on that dvd (animate me) particularly the static dollar bill and the his flaoting business card effect are better than any levatation effect I ever seen using that gimmick. They sound like what you maybe looking for. Oh and animate me haw a couple of the same effects that are on his Art of levitation project.

Well I dont have Losander's Art of levitation but I can tell you that his hook up (which is self contained) on a couple of his effects from Animate Me(as mentioned previously) allows for the hands to be free completely before and after the effects and you can get in and out of the effects almost instantly, wrist band. I did hear that Ammar's dvd set (easy to master tread miracles) has a plenty of hookup methods though..

Thanks for the response! A body band is the equivalent of a standard Mesika-type loop, only it goes around the entire body. This frees up the hands completely, and when you're done with it, it snaps back around you, totally out of the way.
