Can both cards be handed out or is there a switch involved?

Its not mine or anyone else's place to reveal any of the mechanics behind the routine. However someone already has so yes, it requires a switch. The ability to do so does not require any palming or manipulation of any sort, but it does require a gimmick you have to make yourself. It is not my intention to be evasive, but its a gray line between what is part of the secret and what is not.

In the demo-reel the cards are clearly handed out to be examined. There's absolutely something going on that can't be examined, so I guess the nucleus of the question comes down to how difficult is it to hand the cards out for inspection? I think that is the real question, and the answer is: It is not. No. There are no Kelvin Chow level moves involved.
