Is Dan Harlan related to Tarbell Harlan?

I thought he must be his grandson since they share the same name and now Dan is teaching his grandfather's tricks

It's a strange coincidence that I (of course) noticed when I first got into magic and became acquainted with the Tarbell Course. Now, many years later, it is an honor to inspire new generations of magicians by putting my own spin on this massively influential work.

No. The two magicians are Dan Harlan and Harlan Tarbell, with different last names.
