This is a significant question.

I was excited about discovering the Raven a decade of so ago. The reality is that it looks nothing like it does in the videos. I had to wrap mine in band-aid for something a simple as picking up a coin.

In what may be two decades, I have never ever ever known the raven be "completely silent."

If the device is close to the object you can make the vanish completely silent.

For the most visual handling, it will make a small click noise as the object vanishes. This is easily covered with a little bit of ambient noise.

Interesting about the "noise". Mine is over 20 years old and came covered in a soft, black cloth cover. Even after all these years it still works great. I expect, perhaps that over the years they have skimped on the build quality, but a little cloth and glue and you can shut the Raven up for good
