Re the FPS Coin Purse by Brent Braunt

It is stated that the FPS Coin Purse may be used as an everyday coin purse in which to house coins.
Joshua Jay, however, seemingly contradicts this comment when he states, in highlighted text, that this device is NOT a coin purse.
Would you please elaborate?

It's a question of semantics.

Brent calls it a Coin Wallet, not a Coin Purse. He makes the distinction based on what is widely available when you look for coin purses in most magic stores. Most coin purses have a clasp, and are built in a different way.
