References for the stop card effect

there is a trick that I have always thought of as a classic but I can't find work on it ... I call it "stop card" not think stop ala Luke Jeramy or card at any number ala Berglass .. in this effect a freely selected card is shuffled back into the deck .. then the performer counts cards to the table one by one until the spectator calls stop .. and that card is the selected card .. Abbott's magic had a version of this called Ata Boy but Ata Boy requires cumbersome apparatus ...any references for effect ??
