The Monte

In the sales pitch for this effect it states you can do more monte than you thought possible - looking at the video apart from the vanish you can only move the card from the middle to the bottom or the bottom to the middle thats a 50/50 choice as the top card is aways visible. Or, are there other moves not shown that make this effect more like a “monte “ ?

You have it right. You can make a card vanish, or make it appear in the middle or on bottom. That's all that is taught. Playing with the gimmicks involved you could probably work out a way to get the card to land on top if you'd like.
