Here is why I used that number of stars and comment.
I spent the incredibly expensive amount
($1750) for this system.
The wallet worked for a few days as I tried to learn how to use it. I
did not find that easy, by the way. While I could experiment with it, it struck me as quite finicky
which could make it unreliable.
Then, it stopped working. It didn't shut down completely as some
internal parts still move, but it will not function as intended as it is now.
Supposedly, Joao
Miranda offers a lifetime warranty on this product, but they are all on vacation until 09/05/2022. I
know this from Out of Office email replies. I am hopeful that once they are back, they will address
this problem to my satisfaction.
Penguin assures me that I am still well within my 45 day return
period, and they have always been honest and trustworthy with me.
Every day that the Miranda
Team is away, I feel the clock ticking.
This is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE a prop not to have it working
as designed.
So, 'the jury is out' until further notice.
9/30 Penguin Magic should not count the days when they are out of office. It's they doing not yours I mean Joao Miranda Team is away.
Let us know on comment when they JMT fixed the problem.
An oddly huge wallet for $1700 lol. There must be $1700 in $1 bills in the wallet
I too find the Legacy System difficult to master and rely on. However, the support team at Joao Miranda magic has been fantastic helping with a 'guts box' that died as well as some custom videos to help with usage with which I was having trouble. IMHO, the small wallet add on, though expensive too, is a very usable addition to this system in that it hides the HUGE wallet while producing the same outcome. I continue testing (OK, playing with) the system to decide if I want to add the remote. Frankly, it looks more intimidating to use than the wallet, but who knows?
