I ordered Rope to Silk and immediately realized I needed to request a "white rope" (the video showed
the rope as white). So, I went on line with someone named Steve who said he'd make a note of my
request. Then I reviewed the packing of the box and noticed the package exhibited a yellow rope. I
then called and spoke to Eric who said "it was NO PROBLEM". When my package arrived I discovered
that NO ONE was willing to help me so I called and complained. I was told that I was entitled to a
full refund. The rope I bought fell apart in my hands and I can't return it. Just thought I'd
share this sorry story with you. I buy my stuff from you guys and this is the first time I have had
the impression I was being put-on and no one really gave a shit. Oh, the price wasn't very much and
I resent the way I was treated far more than the money. Next time . . . (If there is a next time)
I'm confused. Why did you give it 5 stars for a bad review? So how about the silk?
This is a REALLY GREAT review/feedback..detailed, stated with clarity. I too have a story or three about magic supply retail service and/or marketing in the USA, so I appreciate John Herring's comments and also Penguin Magic's willingness to publicised them. Hurrah for TRANSPARENCY ... almost as important as the RULE OF LAW, in my book, and getting scarce in the US of A from many accounts.
