First off, lets get the bad out of the way. This anothrr trick that comes out in a dvd sleeve, with
cards and a sticker with online video instruction and no dvd. Why package it like that and put no
dvd in it. Make the trick cheaper if putting no dvd saves you so much money. I didn't think Peter
and the boys at Alakazam were following in the likes of other companies that were doing that, but I
guess they are. Packaging should have to say that it contains no dvd. On to the trick, it is a
wonderful packet trick and one that you will use everyday. Would get 5 stars but the dvd issue bugs
me.
Totally agree....shame on Alakazam for not informing the buyer that no DVD was included.
The trick itself is great. What you get in the sleeve is a card with a registration code.
To watch the instructions you have to sign in to alakazam, put in the code and you will get
2 videos.....one for the explanation, the other for the effect. Unlike demos that you normally
see, the alakazam videos are smaller and there is no way to increase the size as you can
with almost every other video. The explanation is quick and somewhat confusing at times.
I was well aware of the situation going into this purchase but I have to agree, I don't care at all for the shift in magical instruction going the way of streaming video....though the times are are rare to not have access to a computer, there are times when the connectivity is not the best. Those are the times when DVD's really come in handy...also nice to have a DVD player for study while traveling...as far as the trick goes, it's a great little routine...easily done and very magical.
