I'm very annoyed that I parted with $30 for a lecture that taught me nothing. Anyone with experience in mentalism will be able to guess the methods employed in achieving these effects. I'm hard pressed to believe that anyone makes a living working cruise ships with this material

How many people in an audience of 200-500 or more do you think are mentalist with this experience you speak of?

Answer: Very few. You are not giving a performance for other magicians. You are giving it for lay-people.

And magicians still enjoy illusions they know the secret to so long as they are done well.....your whine can be applied to any illusion.

Anyone with experience in Card Tricks/Productions/Vanishes/Mentalism.....we know most of these illusions. Of course those with experience will know.

But that's not even 1% of our population.
