I have no idea what a Linoid finish is but it makes these cards an absolute delight to use for card magic. When I figure out what it is, I buy some "Linoid" and use it to finish a few other things.

I have heard rumors that the linoid finish is fashioned from the tears of the extinct Rarey Bird... the last one died in 1927 when its keeper pushed it off of the Eiffel Tower...a long way to tip a Rarey.

Truth be told, Linoid Finish is the same as Air-Cushion Finish.
