I really like the concept in general, and the tutorial gives you plenty of ideas to get started in using it. I'm sure that these are generally well made and I just got a not so perfect one (see 2&3 below). I think this product could be improved upon, nonetheless it is fun to play around with.

Downsides:
1) You have to be careful not to flash the edges of the deck. The gimmick is highly reflective and does not in any way look like the edges of cards (even brand new ones). I may attempt to dull the sides by coating it in white out, or some kind of white paint with a dull matte finish. Also, because there a holes for the smoke to escape, you have to be extra careful to cover these.

2) It makes a crackling noise when it begins heating. If you aren't careful to cover this up somehow, it is easily noticed.

3) Unfortunately, my gimmick does not close entirely, leaving a portion of the back end lifted. This causes a tight seal to not be made and the smoke fills the inside rather than being forced out the slits. Less smoke escapes = less fun.

I bought this product thinking that the decisive reason for purchasing this product was a device that burns cards with smoke. However, this product is a product with only misting function. And, as in the trailer, the spectator's autographed card being burned is certainly false. Also, it's absurd for the audience to spread their decks. I already have several misting devices, but I bought this product after seeing it advertised as if it had a burning function.. I'm so disappointed. The haze feature is great, but the trailer ads are too deceptive.
