I love this so much I bought TWO and it's in every show now.

Since owning this I have used it in a lot of gigs. Couple of points that make this a real worker for me.

1) Fits in my pocket which is important when I'm working and the reset is instant. As a working magician this is important.

2) I love the fact I can personalize it. The diary comes with ready to go predictions such as lottery numbers, fortunes but there is so much more you can do it that Paul shows you on the download. The reason I bought another is because I came up with my own ways to use it and wanted several different outcomes. I keep one in each pocket and can use this all night at a walk-around gig and not repeat an effect with it!!

3) The download is great - Paul does a great job going through it and teaching various routines. Make sure you read the PDF as well because I was able to make up my own envelope from there and didn't have to purchase anything else. The PDF booklet that comes with this has a lot of other routines as well.

4) A really cool part of this is the method and the fact you can hand it out and the spectators will find nothing. This is such a clever use of a principle we probably know is used for something else. There is NO problem with handing this out and Paul shares the ins and outs of doing this on the download.

I really love this - it's my best buy for 2016 so far because it's something I instantly put in my show and am now using. As I said, I loved it I bought TWO!!

Don't pay attention to the first guys comments! It does like it says! It's self working! This first guy crying isn't a magician he's really a "muggle" . If you want "extra ideas / bonus " you DO.. have to buy extra stuff! Other than that it's good!! Tired of little kids who don't know shit about magic crying just because they don't get everything!! Get a different profession then!!! Go play video games for a hobby! Jeeesh!!

This is so clever on so many levels. I've been using this since I got it and it stays in my pocket ready to go all the times. It's easy to use and really does create a strong impact. This is one of the most versatile effects I have ever purchased because it allows me to perform so many different routines. Currently I'm using it to do Paul's card at any date routine and the Scratch & Win routine PLUS I use it as a book test.

You can perform it right out of the box or customize it so it is in your own handwriting - which is what I have done with mine and would recommend. I like the fact you are able to really make it your own because it has made me think of other routines I can create with this.

The really clever feature is that you can hand it out to a spectator and they won't find anything. At first I was a little afraid of this but then realized it really does work - not that they are really looking for anything anyway. The subtlety here is what makes this work and nobody will notice - after all it's just a pocket calendar.

The download (PDF) and the video instructions are well done and filled with routines - at least a dozen different things you can do with this - and that's just the tip of the iceberg. There are lottery predictions, ACAAN type routines, Book test routines, scratch & win predictions - it really seems endless as to what you can use this for - even a fortune cookie routine that I want to try out.

I've been using this regularly now and can perform different tricks for different groups in a walk-about event so have found it the perfect trick for this type of work. Also the fact that it is instant reset makes it very practical for me.

In the PDF you learn how to make a gimmick envelope, or you have the option of buying any that are on the market. You don't need the gimmick envelope at all but if you perform Paul's routine then I would suggest using it. I ended up making an envelope from the instructions and it works perfectly. (I read in a review somebody said you have to buy envelopes - this is NOT true - that person obviously did not read the PDF download.) Actually you don't even need the gimmick envelope - there are lots of other ways that are shown on the download and in the PDF to reveal any of the predictions or outcomes.

This is one of my favourite purchases recently because it's a real worker for me. Being able to get so much from one trick is fantastic and very rare in magic. This is something that has gone straight in to my act and I love it.

The quality of the pocket calendar is first rate and I would say a lot of careful design and work has gone in to this.

Great concept but mine literally split apart at the binding as I went to fill it out.

You can add your own additional effects to this too making it even stronger of a piece with multiple uses. I’ve used this at several corporate events and it gets good reactions and a lot of stunned silence. Presentation is key and I recommend talking about the nexus between the deck of card and the calendar. People seem very interested and it’s a good hook and Segway. Highly recommend due to its portability and power. The initial set up does require about 1-2 hours to truly make it your own, but man, nobody ever even thinks twice about “your” pocket calendar.

I used this all day long at a street festival where I had a small table set up. This just fries people. After the reveal they have nowhere to go. I like this. Simple to do, lots of fun, and it's more of a stunner than you might imagine.

Unfortunately, this arrived totally bent out of shape and unusable so yet again I have to return it to Penguin to get a replacement - not easy during Covid-19 lockdown :(

There are so many uses for this calendar it's scary. From lottery predictions to an awesome way to force a card. The on-line instructions are some of the best I have ever seen. It's broken into chapters for you so you can go to the chapter instantly.

Audiences are floored by the effects. This is one trick I will always use. It's very easy to change the effect from a prediction of a card to a prediction of numbers or whatever you can imagine. I wish more tricks were this good.
